Just received a message about the Basketball Games tonight: 5:30 Varsity-Girls 7:00 Varsity Boys. Dismiss students at 3:20 Bus leaves at 3:30pm. Sorry for the short notice, I just received the message.
Parents/Guardians PLEASE have your children/students dress warm tomorrow. There are a couple of classrooms that are colder than the others, so please dress in layers. All the rooms have been opened up, and we will check again in the morning, and notify you of any changes.
No Wrestling Practice Today - (Monday)
Changes are as follows for this week's BB games
1/21 - Tuesday vs Garrison (Home) (Varsity GBB only - 6:00)
1/23 - Thursday vs White Shield (Away) (4:30 -JVBBB)(6:00-VGBB)(7:30-VBBB)
Please stay tuned for changes to our Basketball Game times this week, as we have to cancel our JV girl's games. Update to follow with the new times.

Time Changes for Friday's Home Basketball Games -
Due to low numbers of Basketball Players on both sides we will be playing only 3 quarters of JVBB and JVGBB tomorrow.
Times are as follows:
3:00 - JV BBB
4:15 - JV GBB
5:15 - Varsity GBB
6:45 - Varsity BBB

Today's home basketball games with Mandaree are scheduled as follows:
3:30 pm - JV Girls basketball game
followed by - varsity Girls basketball game (approx 4:45 start)
followed by - varsity Boys basketball game (approx 6:15 start)

Center-Stanton proudly announces the 2024-2025 Junior High and High School Semester One Honor Roll. Congratulations to all of our Center-Stanton students on your academic work this semester! We are proud of all of you!
Little Wildcats Basketball will start on Tuesday, January 7th during half-time of the Varsity Game VS Medina. Students in Grades 2nd & 3rd will play. Process will go as follows:
1) Students will meet with Mr. Sondag/Mr. Lientz in the Multipurpose room at the END of the 1st Quarter (Teams will be decided)
2) Two parent volunteers and Mr. Lientz will place the lower baskets on the rims at the start of the half-time (If you are interested in helping, please let Mr. S. know)
3) Student will play for about 5-6 minutes (Mr. S. will be the ref)
4) At the end of Halftime - Volunteer Parents will remove the hoops.
Hope to see you all there, on Tuesday it is going to be a blast...
Remember only 2nd and 3rd on Tuesday.
GAME TIME ADJUSTMENTS FOR MONDAY, JANUARY 6th PER CHANGES BY MANDAREE:
There will be NO JV Boys game due to low numbers on their end. We will start JV girls at 3:30 pm followed by Varsity Girls at approximately 5:00 followed by Varsity Boys at approximately 6:30 pm.
Please notify family and community members who are planning to attend.
This Saturday Wildcat Basketball Games (updated)
HS GBB @ Strasburg is 1:00 CT start for JV (2 quarters only) followed by Varsity contest.
HS BBB @ Tioga is 2:00 CT start for Full JV followed by 3:30 CT start for Varsity contest.
To allow for travel time on a Monday school night for the visiting team, we have agreed with game officials and Mandaree Administration to move the start time for January 6th HOME basketball games vs. Mandaree to a 2:00 pm start for JV GBB followed by JV BBB, then Varsity GBB, and concluding with Varsity BBB that evening. We will know more details on how many quarters each of the JV squads will play as determined by eligibility and injuries. Please adjust this on your schedule. Thank you.
Also, we have been asked to help Hazen with a girls subvarsity game on Tuesday, January 7th at Hazen. Our JV Girls basketball team will play at Hazen at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, January 7th v. Hazen csquad. Please put this on your calendar. Thank you.

Junior High Boys Basketball will start practice on Monday, January 6th at 3:30 pm at the Center Civic Center. Please visit with Coach Daniel Olson if interested in playing or if you have questions on practice/game schedule. WE WANT YOU TO BE A WILDCAT! Thanks.
A quick reminder for 7-12 grade students: Only students who have to take their period 5 exam or complete any other make up tests have to come in tomorrow. Please email Ms. Nitschke for any additional questions. Thank you.
Center-Stanton will have a two hour late start tomorrow with classes starting at 10:30 am. Dismissal will now be at 3:30 pm instead of 1:00 pm. Buses will run where possible to drop off at approx. 10:15 am. Please contact your bus driver tonight if not riding. Please plan accordingly.
As of 1:30 pm Wednesday, HS GBB, HS BBB & Wrestling Practices Today will run from 3:30 - 5:00 pm. GBB is practicing at the Civic Center Gym and BBB is practicing in the CSHS Gym. Wrestling will practice from 3:30-5:00 in town,.
There will not be MORNING practice Thursday for HS BBB as originally scheduled.
