Dear Center-Stanton Elementary School Students and Parents,
Welcome back to another exciting school year at CS Elementary School! I am thrilled to embark on this new journey with you and your children for the 2024-2025 school year. I personally hope you had a restful and enjoyable summer, filled with memorable experiences.
At CSES, we provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where every student can thrive. Our commitment to excellence in education continues to be our top priority, and we are proud to highlight the exceptional progress we have made.
One of our most significant achievements over the past years has been the remarkable growth in our students' performance on the NDSA (North Dakota State Assessment) test. Our students have demonstrated impressive improvements in both Reading and Mathematics. These results are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, the support of our parents, and the unwavering commitment of our talented educators. We are incredibly proud of our students' accomplishments and are excited to build on this success in the coming year.
As we begin this new school year, we want to emphasize the importance of partnership between the school and home. Your involvement and support are crucial to your child's educational journey. We encourage you to stay engaged, communicate regularly with your child's teachers, and participate in school activities and events.
We have an exciting year ahead, filled with new opportunities for learning, growth, and discovery. We are confident that, together, we can make this year one of the best yet for our CSES Elementary family.
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events and working together to ensure a successful and enriching school year for all our students.
Warmest regards,
Mr. Mark Sondag
CSES Elementary Principal

Immunizations must be completed by state law. Juniors, 7th graders and Kindergarteners are required for boosters prior to school, along with students that Public Health and the school office have already reached out to. Reminder that Public Health comes once a month to the area for these shots as scheduled - please complete in a timely fashion. October 1 is deadline for immunizations to be turned in or there are state mandated requirements per attached century code for those who don't comply. Please plan ahead!!! Thanks. Superintendent Peterson

Concussion screening is required every other year or if you've had some head injury recently. Students who did not do a concussion screening last year are required to do one prior to first practice (JH and HS competitions). If in 6th grade, and believe you will try JH sport, contact Mr. Peterson to schedule your screening. 7th graders and any new students will need a screening. Call the office at 794-8778. Thanks.

For annual maintenance, the gym floor will be sanded and refinished starting tomorrow morning (Monday, July 22). The gym, stage, and locker room areas will be closed for at least 10-14 days for curing.

If you haven't already, please get your child signed up for Kindergarten or PK as soon as possible! Registration forms can be obtained from the Elementary Office or downloaded from the schools website!

Dear Students and Parents/Guardians:
As the school year has come to an end and summer comes, teachers and staff want to take a moment to reflect on the hard work and accomplishments we've seen from each of you. It's been a remarkable year filled with growth, learning, and memorable experiences. We are incredibly proud of your dedication and achievements.
With summer upon us, it's time to relax, recharge, and enjoy a well-deserved break. We hope you take this time to explore new interests, spend time with family and friends, and maybe even embark on some new adventures. Whether you're traveling, participating in summer programs, or just enjoying some downtime at home, make the most of these months.
Remember to stay curious and keep learning, even outside the classroom. Read a book, try a new hobby, or simply spend some time outdoors enjoying the sunshine. These activities will not only be fun but will also help you come back refreshed and ready for another exciting school year in the fall.
Thank you for all your hard work and for making this school year so special. We look forward to seeing all of you in the fall, ready to tackle new challenges and continue your educational journey.
