Please HELP.... Our Kindergarten Class was over taken by MAD SCIENTISTS

We have just been notified by the city that the water shutoff for the town of Center has been moved to Saturday at 7:00 am. School will resume to normal dismissal time today at 3:30. Buses running at normal 3:30 time. Practices will be held as normal at 3:30 today, as well.

Due to city water being shut off tomorrow afternoon to the entire town, we will be dismissing school at 2:00 pm to allow our students and staff safe and sanitary conditions. Buses will run at 2:00. Practice status will be determined in the morning.

THE ELEMENTARY GIRLS' BASKETBALL GAMES WITH FLASHER ON THURSDAY HAVE BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO ILLNESS. THERE WILL BE NO GAMES IN FLASHER ON THURSDAY. PRACTICE WILL BE AT 3:30 INSTEAD.

HOMECOMING WEEK AT CENTER-STANTON WILL BE SEPTEMBER 26TH THROUGH OCTOBER 2ND. THERE ARE HOME VOLLEYBALL MATCHES, BASKETBALL GAMES, and FOOTBALL GAMES DURING THE WEEK AND THAT SATURDAY FOR ALL TO ENJOY. WATCH FOR DETAILS - INCLUDING A PARADE, CORONATION, AND DANCE.

Preschool Age 3 (PK3) will start on Tuesday, September 7th and run from 8:30 - 11:00 on Tuesday/Thursday until May 20. Preschool Age 4 (PK4) will start on Wednesday, September 8th and run from 12:00 - 3:25 on Monday/Wednesday/Friday until May 21. Alison Erhardt is the teacher.

Junior High and High School Football Practice for TONIGHT has been cancelled by the coach. NOTE: We are sending home the football pictures with your athlete tonight. Please check the backpacks. Thank you.

Volleyball update for Monday: Standing Rock will start the csquad match at 4:30 CT in Ft. Yates. This is earlier than we have posted. Please adjust if you are planning on traveling to Standing Rock High School for volleyball matches on Monday. 4:30-C, 5:30-JV, approx. 6:30-V.

To help community members be able to park in Civic Center parking lot for funeral dinner tomorrow (Thursday), all students are asked to park their cars on streets by elementary school and walk to high school. Thank you for helping the Rud family and our community patrons.

Due to reasons outside of our control, the football game(s) scheduled with Mandaree for Thursday, August 26 have been POSTPONED to a later date to be announced. THERE WILL BE NO GAME(S) ON THURSDAY!

A reminder that the all athlete, parent, and coach meeting will be held TONIGHT (TUESDAY) at 6:00 pm in the CSHS Gym. All athletes (4-12th) are required to attend along with a parent. If you cannot attend, you MUST CALL the school today and speak with Mr. Peterson. Thank you.

Due to a conflict with White Shield not completing paperwork for NDHSAA by a deadline, the football games on September 3 with White Shield have been cancelled. The games with Mandaree have been moved to Aug 26 or 28th dependent upon available officials and will be in Center.
