Elementary Parents!
Spring is coming, but its not quite here yet! Please remember we still need to follow our handbook guidelines of what is needed for outside recess!
Children should still be bringing snow pants, coats, hats, gloves and boots!
Depending on the temperatures staff will monitor what is needed for the last couple recesses in the day.

100-DAYS OF SCHOOL COMPLETED!
HELP US CELEBRATE IN THE ELEMENTARY!
SHOW US SOME 100-DAY SCHOOL SPIRIT AND ENTHUSIASM!

Good Morning!
We wanted to send out a public service announcement to let you know that we do have parking spots available on the north side of the gymnasium for our events in the gym. However, these areas are designated from the start for elderly or handicap parking (4 spots) only. We want to keep those spots reserved for elderly or handicap parking to allow better access to the gymnasium and having to avoid the long walk - and icy walk to the gym. So, please out of respect for those designated parking spots, if you have the ability to park out front in Civic Center lot, please use those spots, and help us save the spots north of the gym for elderly and handicap parking. Thank you.

8:15 PM UPDATE:
After consulting a number of area authorities and neighboring school districts, for safety of traveling staff and students, Center-Stanton will be a two hour late start on Monday morning. Classes will start at 10:30 am. Doors open at 10:00 am. No morning activities such as weights, open gym, etc.
No breakfast served.
Along with surrounding superintendents, we want to allow you plenty of planning time this evening! Please Share Out.

State health officials over the weekend issued a plea for North Dakotans to take COVID-19 seriously, as infections surge due to the omicron variant of the coronavirus and monoclonal antibody treatments remain limited.
Active cases increased 425% between the start of the month and Saturday, reaching 9,770 before falling to 6,955 on Monday amid a typical drop-off in testing over the weekend, according to Health Department data.
The state's reported 14-day rolling test positivity rate, which was at 7.48% on Jan. 1, reached a pandemic high of 16.71% on Sunday, the department said Monday. The state target is less than 5%.
Newly confirmed COVID-19 cases last week surpassed 2,000 on five consecutive days, and the figure reported last Thursday set a pandemic record, at 2,631. There were 755 new cases reported on the state's coronavirus dashboard Monday, but the daily positivity rate was 28.5%.
