Just a couple of reminders from the Principal's Office: 1) Healthy snacks must be sent to school with your children:(Candy Bars are not allowed as a snack) Grades K-4 have a designated healthy snack time, students should be bringing their own teacher approved healthy snack. Our policy states snacks that are brought to school need to be HEALTHY, example no sweets/deserts, or chips. "Brain Foods" are always welcome, proteins, fruits, & veggies, example cheese, lunch meat, beef sticks, applesauce, fruit cups, yogurt, pretzels, crackers, granola bars, veggie straws, etc. 2) Because of continued issues/fighting over Pokémon cards student will NOT be able to bring them to school. If Pokémon cards are seen they will ne collected and parents will need to come and get them at the office. Mr. S.

Greetings! I am excited to be the National Honor Society Advisor. The National Honor Society is made up of exemplar students that are willing to make a difference in their school and community. It is one of the highest honors that can be awarded to a high school student. CSHS Junior and Senior students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher have been given invitations to apply to become part of the National Honor Society. Those applications are due by October 9th, 2023. You may e-mail the application as an attachment to milissa.meckle@k12.nd.us or hand deliver your typed applications by 3:30 on October 9th . The new members will be decided upon by a panel of other faculty. The four categories that are the basis for selection are scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Congratulations to the following three returning NHS members who will lead our Center-Stanton Chapter this year: Jordan Peterson, Sasha Coon, and Ericka Vosberg. We appreciate all of the work you have done this last year! Special thanks to Mrs. Lacey Hanson and Mr. Andrew Mondry for getting our school started in this amazing organization. If you want to know more about the National Honor Society, please visit their website at https://www.nationalhonorsociety.org/ Scholarships and awards are also available through this organization and at our local level. I hope to carry over some of the same activities from last year, while adding a few more extras to our calendar of events. Feel free to contact Mr. Mondry or myself at 701-794-8778. Sincerely, Mrs. Milissa Meckle/National Honor Society ~You excel. You serve. You lead. You succeed. You have a true thirst for challenge … and accomplishment. First PBIS Party of the Year (August) Thanks to the students for their great start to the new school year. Students that earned the PBIS party got 30 minutes extra of recess and an Icee from the Principal on Friday. Students were then allowed to place their handprint on the Hallway wall. (Check out the pictures below). If your child was unable to place their handprint on the wall, please stop by the office. Alysia and the PTA did a great job with this activity. We will be adding this year's T-Shirt Motto to the wall (One School, One Community, One Mission). Tuesday the students and staff will receive their 23-24 Wildcat T-shirt. Thank you to the Community Club and Rud Oil and Gas. What a GREAT start to the 23-24 School Year.
