Leadership, service, and a little school spirit!
It has been a busy and exciting time for our National Honor Society members!
We recently welcomed our newest members during our NHS Induction Ceremony last Friday. We celebrated their commitment to scholarship, service, leadership, and character. We are so proud of these students and look forward to seeing the ways they continue to make a difference in our school and community.
As part of Homecoming Week, NHS members also hosted a hydration station for all Center-Stanton students and staff! 💧 They spent time serving drinks, visiting with students and staff, and helping add a little extra fun to the week.
From a special night celebrating their accomplishments to finding ways to serve others during Homecoming, these students are showing that NHS is about more than a title—it’s about using your time, talents, and leadership to make our school a better place.

Math in action! 🧮🎲
In Applied Math, students got hands-on practice with a skill they can actually use in the real world—and behind the concession stand! Students took turns being customers and cashiers, practicing how to count back change and making sure the amount they returned was correct. 💵
Meanwhile, Geometry students played UNO… but with a mathematical twist! 🃏 They completed UNO proofs, using the familiar game to practice organizing their thinking, making logical connections, and preparing for our upcoming work with geometric proofs.
Who says math always has to look like a worksheet? Sometimes the best learning happens when students are doing, explaining, and figuring things out together! ❤️➗
