C-S Inducts the first Honor Society Members
On November 22, C-S held the first ever Honor Society Induction Ceremony. This chapter was started by Mrs. Hanson and Mr. Mondry at the beginning of the school year. With the help of several staff members that served as the faculty council, the first members were officially inducted! In order to be considered, students must have earned a cumulative GPA minimum of 3.5. All Juniors and Seniors who had the GPA requirement was then given a letter inviting them to apply for the Honor Society. Each student that chose to apply filled out a detailed application that concentrated on the four pillars of the NHS: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. Each application was looked at by a faculty committee. This year we are proud to announce that we have seven new members! The following Juniors and Seniors are the first ever NHS members of CSHS: Jayden Hall, Rebecca Peterson, Reanna Schmidt, Cameron Albers, Katelynn Albers, Katelyn Frank, and Breanna Vosberg.
The chapter will meet regularly and will work on various service projects for not only the school but the community of Center!
