Socktober is back! 🧦🧦🧦🧦

The most requested item in homeless shelters around country is clean, dry socks.

Last year Kole Albers and the FFA team started a service project calls SOCKTOBER, which is a nationwide event collecting new socks for local homeless shelters and resource centers across tbe country. Our FFA chapter collected over 1200 pairs of socks which were distributed across the state and even into South Dakota! This year from Oct 11 to Oct 31 Kole and the team are collecting socks again PLUS would like to collect gloves/mittens as well so hands and feet can be warm and dry during the cold wet winter months. Items can be left in collection baskets in the high school or elementary office or the Ag room. Donations can also be dropped off at the gas station in Center or you can contact Kole or his mom Nicole at 471-0643.

Thank you for helping Kole and the FFA team in their project to help others.
