Hello fourth grade families,
We’re entering the last month of the school year, and we have several upcoming activities. First, we will be going on a field trip on May 11th. We’re going to the Heritage Center in Bismarck for a short time and then to Fort Abraham Lincoln outside of Mandan. We’ll leave around 9:00 that morning and return to school before 3:30 that afternoon. More information about the field trip will be coming home with your child soon.
To end our year of North Dakota Studies, each student will be researching a North Dakota historical landmark and writing a report about it. Then, we will make models of these landmarks. Once again, look for more information coming soon about what your child is researching and what they may need for craft supplies.
Finally, I like to end the year by doing a science project with the students. If you have any clear two-liter bottles (with lids) at home, please send them to school. They’re a necessary part of our project, and they will allow the students to bring the project home to show off.
