May 10: CSHS Pops Concert @ 7:30 p.m. (Gr. 7-12 – Note time change)
May 20: C-S Elementary Spring Concert @ 6:30 p.m. (Gr. K-6)
May 30 – CSHS Graduation @ 2:00 p.m. (Gr. 7-12 Band/HS Choir Required!)
* All students in grades 7-12 are asked to wear proper concert attire for all concerts. Requirements are: Black/White/Grey or any combination of the three colors. Please no jeans (unless black/not faded) or t-shirts. Students can wear any color(s) for the Pops concert in May.
Attention 4th Grade Parents – Beginner’s Band
Our fourth graders met with a representative from Eckroth Music on April 23rd where they had the chance to try out multiple instruments. Throughout the process and by following a rubric we were able to make a suggestion about which instrument would allow each student to be the most successful in band. Mrs. Hanson is sending home a packet of information (instrument selection, beginner’s band camp info, rental, etc.) the first week in May. Please read through everything and return it by the specified date. Also, as always please let Mrs. Hanson know if you have any questions or concerns!
2021 CSHS Pops Concert
The annual CSHS Pops Concert is scheduled for Monday, May 10th in the CSHS gymnasium. Originally the concert was set for 7:00 p.m. but due to a scheduling conflict we had to move it to 7:30 p.m. Please note this change!
You will not want to miss this crowd favorite concert of the year! Our Junior High and High School students have been rehearsing hard to prepare their music. This year’s concert will feature music from Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, Shrek, Coldplay, One Republic, The Temptations, Metallica, and many more! In addition to the Band and Choir, the CSHS Jazz Band will also be featured!
Admission is free (free will donation taken at the door) and desserts/refreshments will be served during intermission. Please come out and enjoy a great Spring evening of music!
** Reminder that Jazz parents are responsible for the desserts. Please try to think of something that requires a fork or spoon vs. a cookie or brownie. One dessert per student in jazz band.
Elementary Spring Concert
The 2021 Elementary Concert is scheduled for Thursday, May 20th beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the CSHS Gymnasium. This year’s concert will feature both the 5th and 6th grade bands, and grades K-6. Notes will be sent home prior to the concert for all parents with more info. Please contact Mrs. Hanson or Mrs. Erhardt with any questions or concerns!
