Applied Math II

Applied Math 2 – Grades 9-12

1 Credit (1/2 credit per semester)

Prerequisite:  Good understanding of basic math (Applied Math I recommended)

This class is a continuation of Applied Math I and is designed to introduce the students to the applications of mathematics in everyday life.  A wide variety of maps, forms, graphs, charts, or data will be utilized by students to strengthen their math skills and promote the ability to perform multi-step math computations.  Students will be introduced to different branches of mathematics as they relate to various professions.  Availability of this class offering is dependent upon number of students interested and scheduling possibility.  Please contact principal or classroom teacher if interested in taking this class.

**Note:  Applied Math II is being offered and/or taught by Mrs. Schwalk and Mr. Fries during the 2018-2019 school year.
